Our Story
Char Bar was founded in 2014 with the mission to serve quality kosher meals in a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere. At Char Bar, you can witness this devotion to our high-caliber kosher cuisine, whether that is through our homemade barbecue sauce to our sky-high deli sandwiches or our famous pulled brisket.
Chef Ravi Narayanan achieves this by incorporating fresh kosher-certified ingredients and enhancing the customer experience. Chef Ravi brings a unique level of care and dedication to the restaurant through his vast accomplishments. He was the first American chef de partie for 2-star Michelin Michel Rostand in Paris and worked as the Chef de Cuisine with Gary Danko at the Dining Room in the Ritz-Carlton San Francisco.
